Essay writing is an important part of the coursework, assignments and projects, written examinations, and other academic tasks that involve essay writing and performed by secondary school students and tertiary education level students including college and university students. In addition, the skills learned in essay writing could be applicable in other types of academic writings that have an influence or impact on the initial or final grades obtained by a student for a particular course.

An example for a secondary school student or a university student to improve his grades for some of his courses would be to convert some of his finished essays that are currently in printed form into digitally formatted essays with the use of an image scanner and then save those essays into a PowerPoint document format. The essays converted into a PowerPoint document could be entitled as a presentation program of Power Point Presentation Essays, which the student could use for reviewing his own finished essays and the essays he would write in the future as part of his academic tasks.

The secondary school student or university student could use his presentation program of Power Point Presentation Essays as his own learning tool for reading, assessing and reviewing the performance level of his finished essays. When his written essays are saved in the PowerPoint document format, he could read and assess the parts or sections where the teacher or lecturer has made any remarks for errors in grammar, spelling and syntax. A teacher or lecturer that wrote any comments or feedback on the essays in written form would also be viewed in the essays that are scanned and converted into a PowerPoint document format.

Since the student's finished essays are in soft copy form under a PowerPoint document format, the student could access his presentation program of Power Point Presentation Essays with the use of a computer if the document is saved into a USB drive or other disk drives, or if he sent his document as an email attachment. When the student has send his PowerPoint document through the e-mail, he could access the document and the essays under it as web-based essays in Power Point presentation. Those online essays could be viewed and studied through an Internet connected desktop computer or a laptop computer.

The student should take note that the main benefit of reading and reviewing his finished essays under a PowerPoint format is the ease of convenience of viewing the pages of his essay as a slide show in a computer screen and clearly seeing his mistakes and the improvements that need to be made. Consequently, he could prevent in repeating any mistakes that would possibly lead to better grades in the subsequent essays he would write.
